About the Project
The Access to Justice Project aims to enhance legal awareness, improve access to government schemes, strengthen community-based support mechanisms, and ensure that marginalized communities can exercise their rights effectively. The Village Mobilizer will be a key field-level resource to facilitate community engagement and mobilization for better access to justice.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct door-to-door visits, community meetings, and awareness campaigns on rights, entitlements, and access to justice mechanisms.

Mobilize community members, especially women, children, SC/ST communities, and marginalized groups, to participate in project activities.

Facilitate the formation and strengthening of Village Level Committees (VLCs) and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs).

Assist community members in filing grievances, accessing government schemes, and connecting with legal aid services.

Maintain close coordination with PRI members, government officials, and local stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation.

Collect and maintain field-level data, prepare weekly/monthly reports, and share updates with the Project Coordinator.

Identify cases of rights violations, support referrals, and coordinate with legal aid providers wherever required.

Support training, workshops, and capacity-building sessions organized under the project.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: Minimum 10+2 pass; graduates in Social Work, Rural Development, or related fields preferred.

Experience:
-
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in community mobilization, fieldwork, or rights-based programs.

Prior experience in access to justice, legal awareness, or women & child rights will be an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to mobilize and motivate communities effectively.

Basic knowledge of legal rights, government schemes, and welfare entitlements.

Ability to maintain reports and documentation.

Comfortable with extensive fieldwork in rural and tribal areas.

Language: Proficiency in Hindi and local tribal dialects preferred.
Remuneration

Annual CTC: ₹1,32,000 (inclusive of all statutory benefits)
